About Andy Andrei

Andy solves legal and business problems for emerging and high growth companies. She has represented clients in industries ranging from technology, mining, pharmaceuticals, finance, beauty and consumer retail. 

She has worked with founders and companies at all stages of operations, from company formation to go-public transactions. She has advised clients on public and private financings, purchases and sales and has acted as “outside general counsel” to later stage businesses. She particularly enjoys helping companies navigate through challenges and opportunities that arise from their business endeavours with creative solutions. 

Prior to joining BTL, Andy was an associate in the capital markets and M&A group at one of Canada’s largest national firms where she advised domestic and international companies on public offerings, investment fund structures and on-going public market compliance. Andy was also at a boutique in Toronto where she worked with technology companies to complete private placements, capital pool company listings and qualifying transactions. Andy completed a Juris Doctorate at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Outside of law, Andy enjoys adventure sports such as cycling and scuba diving. She also does acrylic painting and is aiming to improve her karaoke performance by taking private singing lessons.
